Plain Barcode Label

A barcode label is a type of label on which a barcode has been printed.When you pass a barcode scanner over your barcode label, the barcode scanner uses the reflected light or image capturing to “read” the barcode. If your scanner and computer are connected, the barcode label information is sent to your computer, the same way manually typing an ID number would.

They are most typically seen in retail or warehousing, but other examples include: Hospitals: 2D barcodes are a great choice for labeling small vials, medications and packets with pertinent information, crucial for patient safety, and can be used in novel ways such as keeping track of newborns in the nursery.
